Hi there! Welcome to this blog. Thanks for your curiosity by following the “Forum” Link on my website. I hope you had the time to realize that my insanity has no limit.
After more than a year I have just updated my site. Much has happened in the past weeks around Buell and I think it is safe to say that much more will be happening in the near future. I have read the two books about Buell which I know (25 years of Buell by Court and Dave, The Buell book – in German) and have listened to Erik in person, in videos, and interviews. There is no doubt in my mind that he will want to continue building American Sportbikes. He is not done. Right now he seems paralyzed by recent events, probably due to contractual matters. The big question is if Harley will be American enough to allow somebody to buy the intellectual property and everything else which could enable Erik to continue on his 200 year plan…
As for my tubers, I will continue to “save” them from the butcher’s block as long as I can. My personal dream is to one day move to the Provence and organize motorcycle tours on classic Buells in one of the most beautiful areas in the world (obviously I am heavily biased but everyone who has seen “A good year” or is watching the Tour de France should know what I mean). For right now this still seems a stretch, but I will keep you informed.
Please let me know what you think of my site. If you have corrections, comments, questions, complaints, send me a message or post it here. I will try to be a little more active on this Forum, but I need your help!

Can’t wait to try this out in a few years… umm… warm summer sun, cool rose wine, and hot French baguettes with melted Brie cheese. Oh… and cute French guys with great accents to supply eye candy. All that even apart from the curves and mountains and good vibrations of Buell motorcycling. “-)

Howdy, I am a Buell Enthusiast in Austin TX.
Last fall I had my S3 in North Carolina for a week, loved every wonderful minute of it.
I was born in Vence, France 1961. But, we left France when we were infants, and grew up in Seattle Washington.
Any chance you will be offering rental Buells in France by Spring of 2009?

vielen Dank fuer Dein Post. Kann gut sein, dass ich im Juni in Deutschland sein werde. Nur kenne ich mich in der deutschen Buell-Szene so gut wie nicht aus. Ist das das MSM? Ausserdem ist ein Wochenende spaeter doch das Homecoming in East Troy. Da werde ich schon eher hin. Mal sehen, ich lasse mich treiben…

schöne Seite und hervorragende Idee.Nur Schade,dass ich sie jetzt erst gefunden habe.Bin öfters beruflich in USA und im Mai 07 war ich 2 Wochen in Toledo und wenn ich das gewusst hätte,wäre Deine Sammlung eine willkommene Abwechslung zum tristen Alltag in “dieser Stadt” gewesen. Habe ne 98er M2 und S1W,kann also mit Dir nicht mithalten;-)))
Bin voraussichtlich im Sommer in Chicago, vielleicht sieht man sich zum Homecoming .

Toledo ist gar nicht so schlecht, wenn Du die richtigen Ecken kennst. Zum Mopedfahren ist’s hier allerdings schon recht langweilig. Melde Dich bei Deinem naechsten Besuch in jedem Fall bei mir! Man bekommt ja richtig Angst, wenn man deine Werbung für die Buells anschaut. Wie gut muss man denn da Moped fahren?
Dennoch gute Idee und wenn es mit der eierlegenden Wollmilchsau geht, dann überlege ich es mir.

Love the site.
I have a Thunderbolt 98 with only 4200 miles and love it. I travel every year to Grasse in Provence close to Cannes. Not yet with the Buell though. To drive motorcycle in France is very different from the US…big difference!!!

(.Ostern gehts zurück. Mit dem Homecoming hat es nicht geklappt,hat sich alles ein halbes Jahr verzögert. Heute war hier wirklich der erste Tag zum Moped fahren,das Salz ist weg,Strassen sauber und die Temperaturen stimmen. Aber kein Moped da.
wie versprochen(voriges Jahr;-))) melde ich mich.Bin seit Januar wieder in Chicago,hatte aber noch keine Zeit,wirklich was zu unternehmen.Die Firma spannt uns ein
Dafür hab ich Eric am 3.10.08 in der Nähe von Berlin getroffen(Spreewaldring)Da war die Vorstellung der 1125 C.Er hat meine “weisse” signiert und ich war glücklich.
Dieses Jahr geht es mit dem guten Stück an die Ardeche ,Familie fährt mit dem Auto und ich kann mich austoben.Ich hoffe ,Dir geht es bestens und Du hast von Deinen Plänen noch keinen Abstand genommen . Gruß Casi

ist wohl schon ne Ewigkeit her, dass ich von mir habe hören lassen. Hier ist soweit alles O.K., wir wohnen noch immer im Kirchturm und gehen brav in die Schule. Die Kinder wachsen und natürlich auch ihre Ansprüche, aber sonst ist alles gesund. Ich hoffe, dass es dir und deiner Familie auch gut geht und die Geschäfte laufen.
Kommst du im Sommer zum Abitreffen?
